Yair Assulin writes a weekly cultural-political column for the leading Israeli newspaper Ha’aretz. He is the author of the novels The Journey (2011) and The Things Themselves (2014) as well as the long form poem Munich (2014) and the edited collection “Hear My Voice: New Old Psalms” (2017). In this talk, Mr. Assulin will share his thoughts about the "Israeli mind" as he sees it. It is based on years of observing, thinking, and writing about identity, story, and place in Israel.
